We are Electric Love Studios. We are a photography and video studio located in Caldwell, New Jersey that is both female and LGBTQ-owned and operated. It’s important to us to provide our clients with an inclusive, empowering, and fun luxury experience. SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

This position is best for individuals looking to gain experience in social media design and marketing for brands. Freelance work in this area will only continue to grow and the ability to create authentic content for a business is a competitive edge that will give you the competitive edge you need to reach quality clients. Our intention is to gain the help we need in developing consistency with our social media presence.

• 12-24 weeks (we'll have an evaluation at 12 weeks with the option to extend)

• This position is mostly virtual & occasional in-person content creation days that will be scheduled in advance

• Knowledge and familiarity with the following social media platforms is required: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook

• We will guide you in each step of the process

• This is an unpaid internship with the intention to hire

Position Overview

PLAN
content one month ahead as a team during our weekly video call meeting (content type, the reason we are creating it, general design or type of content, the feel, captions, tags, hashtags, locations, etc.)

PRODUCE
photo and video content when needed. We will schedule this time ahead and create bulk content when possible. We suspect the need for 1-4 in-person content creation days a month, (good quality cell phone is perfect for this content)

CREATE
and design the produced or pre-produced content so that it aligns with the previously planned intention of the content and our brand. (Canva, Photoshop, or other design apps or platforms are welcome).

SHARE
execute completed content by either scheduling or posting manually to the following platforms: Instagram (posts, reels, stories, videos), TikTok, Facebook (posts, stories), Pinterest, LinkedIn (posts)

BONUS
ability to track analytics, create or desire to learn to create ads, writing blog posts

STUDIO INTERNSHIP

We are looking for studio interns! This is a great opportunity for those looking to learn more about photography, customer service, the inner workings of a luxury photography studio, and more about the areas of service we offer. Our number of portrait sessions vary and you would be notified in advance. Depending on the availablitily of our applicants, we will be considering multiple interns.

• 12-24 weeks (evaluation at 12 weeks with the option to extend)

• Reliable transportation is required.

•We will discuss what you would like to takeaway from your experience as an intern and will make sure that you are able to accomplish the goals mentioned upon your interview.

•This is an unpaid internship with paid opportunities in the future

Position Overview

HELP
prepare the studio for portrait session and breakdown after each session

GREET
clients with enthusiasm, offer beverages and snacks provided by us, tour of space, etc.

ASSIST
during each portrait session by helping to move gear, organizing the area, help with small details upon asking permission (fixing hair, bunched shirts, etc.), and other tasks.
