Essentially, what we call a "Forever Session" is what most people call an engagement session in New Jersey. When you really take a minute to think about it, your couple's photo session is way more than just celebrating an engagement. Personally, we believe that the celebration of engagement comes to fruition as the wedding. We’re not thinking about making photographs that say, "We're engaged!" Rather, we’re driven to make photographs that say, "We will love each other, forever, and here's why." It's a true testament to who you are together, for each other and with each other. It could be a recreated date, dinner at your favorite restaurant, hanging out with your pets, or just sharing love notes with one another on your couch. It's whatever means something to you. On-Location Engagement Session

With that said, we could take your photos in a back alley in Caldwell, and they'll still look professional and amazing. Do ya know why? The reason our engagement photos are so popular is that they depict who you really are for each other. The location is secondary to having authentic pictures that capture your emotions. We're happy to travel to a location that's meaningful to you and your partner. We've done engagement sessions in NJ, NY, PA, CT, and NH. We're happy to go over our traveling rates for areas outside 1:30 travel time from Caldwell, NJ.

By now you may have figured out Melissa is the talented filmmaker of Electric Love Films. We have been working together since 2011 and finally decided to start offering our combined services. Enough of the background, here's what we do. While we're capturing your session, we swap back and forth taking the lead. Our end product is a 2-3 minute highlight video including interviews and storyline while featuring key photos from the session. Package options are available for different ways to display the photographs as prints or wall art. Words, however, don't do it justice. It's a great way to amp up your wedding guests before you enter the room. It's definitely a fun way to share your story on Instagram, Facebook, or your wedding website. Most importantly, it's awesome to look back on when you need a reminder, pick me up, or a moment to quickly brighten your day.
Caldwell Studio Engagement Sessions
Studio engagement sessions are an awesome way to create beautiful photographs with many types of lighting styles and scenes. Our Caldwell, NJ portrait studio is a gorgeous, loft-like, suite on the top floor of the newly renovated Wilson building just outside Essex Fells. If you're wondering what's the benefit of engagement photos in the studio since most sessions take place outdoors, read on. We have so many tools and tricks available in our portrait studio. Although we bring a lot of portable photography gear and lighting on location, we're able to create softer, more beautiful portrait lighting with larger modifiers inside. In-studio portrait sessions are a great solution for winter engagement shoots! Who wants red, runny noses in the photos anyway? We have the ability to go through multiple outfits and create a variety of looks. Your photo session will also be efficient and smooth as there won't be any interference or distractions. One of my favorite reasons to have a studio couples session is to let the focus just be about you and your connectedness rather than the landscape or other surroundings.
