Here's a statistic that should bother you more than it probably does: the average couple prints fewer than five photos from their entire wedding day. Thousands of dollars, months of planning, one of the biggest days of your life, and it lives almost entirely as a gallery link you scroll past once and then forget.
I get why it happens. The gallery arrives, you're thrilled, you share a few images on social media, and then life picks back up. Printing feels like a "someday" task, and someday has a way of turning into never.
The problem is that a laptop crashes. A phone gets replaced. A cloud service changes its policy or shuts down entirely. The photos survive, mostly, but the easy access to them doesn't. Meanwhile, the prints your grandparents have sitting in a frame from their wedding in 1972 are still right there on the wall, no login required.
If you're sitting on a gallery you never did anything with, here's where I'd start:
Pick your five favorites first. Not fifty. Five. Print those, frame them, done. You can always add more later, but five is a manageable starting point that actually gets finished.
Think about where you'll actually look at them. A hallway you walk through daily beats a guest room nobody enters.
Consider an album over loose prints if you want the full story told. Albums force a narrative; prints tend to get chosen almost at random.
If you booked with me, this is exactly what my post-wedding album and wall art process is designed to solve, so you're not the person googling "how to print my wedding photos" eight months later, feeling guilty about it. Reach out, and I'll walk you through the options.
If you didn't work with me and wish you had some custom wall art, contact me anyway, and we'll discuss your options! Depending on the file size you own, we can make either small prints that are matted and framed to use more space, or if the files are full resolution, we can craft almost anything up to 40x60.
