I understand the nuances of LGBTQ weddings, from navigating family dynamics to using correct pronouns to celebrating your love in a way that feels authentic to you. I've lived the experience of planning celebrations in a world that doesn't always understand us, and I know the importance of working with someone who truly gets it.
My LGBTQ wedding photography has been featured in major publications, and I've had the honor of photographing LGBTQ weddings across New Jersey for over 15 years. From intimate elopements to grand celebrations, I approach every wedding with the same commitment: documenting your love authentically, beautifully, and without you ever having to explain yourselves.

Why Choose a Certified LGBTQ Wedding Photographer?
Not all wedding photographers are created equal when it comes to LGBTQ weddings. Here's what sets certified LGBTQ wedding photographers apart:
I Understand Your Experience
As LGBTQ photographers, I've lived the experience of planning celebrations in a world that doesn't always understand us. I know the importance of pronouns, the complexity of family dynamics, and the joy of celebrating love on your terms.
Safe Space Guaranteed
From our first consultation to your wedding day, you'll never have to explain yourselves, educate me, or worry about judgment. You can be completely authentic and focus on what matters... celebrating your love. Proper Representation LGBTQ weddings have unique moments that deserve to be documented with understanding. Whether it's two brides getting ready, two grooms walking down the aisle together, or a non-binary couple's first dance, I know how to capture these moments with respect and artistry.
Community Connected
My LGBTBE certification through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce means I'm connected to LGBTQ-friendly vendors, venues, and resources throughout New Jersey. I can recommend truly inclusive vendors who will celebrate you.
Advocate for You
If any vendor or venue treats you with anything less than complete respect, I have your back. I've worked with LGBTQ couples for 17 years and know how to navigate any situation professionally.
Investment in Representation
When you hire an LGBTQ-owned business, you're supporting authentic representation and helping build economic power within our community. Choosing a photographer who truly understands your experience isn't just nice-to-have, it's essential for capturing your day authentically.
Morris County LGBTQ-Friendly Wedding Venues
Planning an LGBTQ+ wedding in Morris County, NJ? Here are venues I've photographed at that welcome all couples with open arms:
Right in my studio's hometown of Denville, The Farmhouse is explicitly LGBTQ-friendly with a beautiful rustic-elegant barn aesthetic. The venue accommodates 150-200 guests and has gorgeous outdoor ceremony spaces perfect for editorial wedding photography. The sunset lighting here is absolutely magical.
This stunning rustic venue has multiple ceremony locations and creates a warm, welcoming environment for all couples. The property offers incredible photo opportunities year-round, from their gardens in spring to snow-covered barns in winter.

The venues offer a blend of old-world charm and modern sophistication. Wedding Photos That Don't Feel Awkward
I know you need a few traditional portraits and we've got that covered, but you're coming to me for more than just traditional portraits. You are coming to us for wedding photos that are little different, a little edgy, cinematic, moody, and dramatic! I will work with you to create whatever wedding looks you're going for. Also, I want you to know you can come as you are. Bring the drama (the good kind, but hey, I can handle any kind), bring the fun, the loud, the calm and intimate, the sassy, the dancing, the silly, the blue steel, be over the top, GQ, or quietly enjoy the moments together. I'm here for all of it and will document your love authentically. I specialize in dramatic lighting. Truth be told, it's really fun for us to create. With that said, I work with all kinds of light. Sometimes a photo needs to be bright and airy. Other times, dark and moody. I promise amazing photographs no matter what the environment is like (rain, shine, yellow church walls reflecting on your face). The great part is I determine that organically depending on you, the vibe of you wedding, the scene around us, what best enhances the photograph, and our conversations prior to your engagement session and wedding day. This allows us to create a variety of artistic wedding photographs for your collection.
Creating Custom Artwork
Our end goal is to make custom artwork celebrating your love that you're proud of! We'll make photographs that you'll want to blow up so big, the neighbors can see it from their porch; and honey, we ain't lying about that! Our custom wall art, albums, and portrait boxes are all handmade in Italy. We like nice things and our couples do, too. We understand some people are used to consumer level printers online, however, given that our clients deserve the best, we only offer the best. Will your artwork fade? Nope. What if the sun is hitting it? Nope. Is it like anything you've ever seen before? Nope. Can you get the same thing at Costco or Shutterfly? NOPE! Will your friends wish they had artwork like yours and have tons of complements about your wall art? YUP! Your artwork investment is meant to last forever; It'll actually outlive you!
We'll design it together to perfectly fit your style of decor, location, texture, and colors. It all starts with a reveal party at the studio which will segue right into your design consultation and ordering session. We'll have drinks, snacks, laughs, typically some emotional tears, and most of all, fun! You'll leave with one last thing on your to-do list knowing you have incredible custom engagement, boudoir, wedding, or even family artwork heading your way within 1 month!
There was no stopping these two beautiful humans in 2020! Like many their wedding was postponed to 2021. The emotional build up, the excitement, the waiting... they had to do something, so they honored their original wedding date a mini micro-wedding celebration! We started off with a portrait session in our studio and then headed to a family members backyard to meet their families for their ceremony and party. They powered up the Zoom, rolled out the runner, popped the champagne, and turned up the music. We cannot wait for their full wedding in 2021!
